Short & Sweet

Posted by Tammy Chapman on

I think we are all getting a bit tired of our "social distancing".  Although still needed, I think we should just take a break today and think of something we are thankful about.  There is always at least 1 reason to be thankful!  So today, try to meditate on what you are thankful for during these stressful times.

That was the "short" of the blog today...here is the "sweet!"

Honey is a natural antibacterial agent!!!  Honey protects against damage caused by bacteria. Some honey also helps production of cells that can repair tissue damaged by infection. WebMD lists honey as a great cough, sore throat helper.  Many doctors are now saying natural honey (not the mixed corn syrup stuff you buy in the grocery) should be used for children over the age of 1 until 6 years of age to avoid OTC (over the counter) medications when possible. I have a very compromised immune system.  I always take our Arthritis Helper for Inflammation & Pain every morning in my tea.  We developed this for me!  I truly believe it is what keeps me upright and moving.  Since the pandemic, I have been using our Cold Suppressor every night, and supplementing an extra dose during the day if I feel it is needed.  I took a dose for preventative measures before I went to Bible Study yesterday.  I personally believe that the honey will protect my throat from the virus and protect my health.  It coats my throat, opens my nasal passages and actually helps me sleep better.  We do have a Flu Suppressant also.  It has Mother's Apple Cider Vinegar in the mix and if I am really feeling bad, I will take a dose. It is very strong, and I prefer the Cold formula, but I will take a dose here and there if needed. Tim does the Flu formula.  To each his own!

Please, during these times do whatever you need to do to protect yourself.  Please read up on our products in the "Treat Me Naturally" line.  They are not a cure.  They are a help in your health protection.  Stay safe all!
