These 4 beauties were outside my back door this morning. They were also eating right outside the living room window last night, but it was too dark and they were too spread out to get them all in one shot. I hope you can see them, they look so healthy!
Had taco salad last night and made the No Yeast Dinner Rolls with the salad. They were better than I thought they would be, but I had to bake them an extra 5 minutes and although they were just starting to get brown, they were still a little doughy on the inside. Crusty outside though and great hot with melted butter and honey! If you like bread, these were easy and really good! It says to drop them into greased muffin pan, which I did, but I think next time I will roll them into balls and place them in muffin tin. Either way, I will post the recipe here. Again, it says 15 minutes bake time, but that was not enough for me. I left them in an extra 2 minutes at a time and at 5 extra minutes I noticed they were just getting golden (and I didn't want them to dry out) so I took them out. Popped right out of muffin pan.
Easy No Yeast Dinner Rolls
Preheat oven to 350. Grease muffin tin.
1 Cup Flour (I use GF)
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Salt (I used pink himalayan sea salt)
1/2 Cup Milk (I used unsweetened coconut)
2 Tbsp Mayo (Real Mayo)
Mix and drop dough into greased muffin tin. Bake 15 minutes (mine took 20). Makes 5 rolls.
Tim got back yesterday afternoon and was out putting up bees. He is going to line them up along the old barn this year as it gets good morning sun to wake them up and get them moving! Can't see much of the hives in this photo, I just wanted to give you a sneak peek. Beautiful sunny day here. The river has broken up and really started moving, so the flooding in the field is dropping. No ducks this morning. I was so hoping to see them again.
