Very busy day here!  Tim and I both have lists of things to do today.  I harvested rhubarb yesterday and it is clean, but needs cut and bagged for freezer.  I have baking to do today also, which means a run to the grocery, and I need to make a visit to the $ store in town.  Looking for pens and wooden skewers for the grill.  Plus tending the garden (which looks fabulous!) and maybe some laundry besides all the office work today.  It is going to be beautiful the next few days (highs of 70) so I am going to try to get done as much as possible.  Cool is better for me!  59 in the house this morning when we got up.  A little chilly, but still better than 80.  You can only take off so many clothes people!  I was actually wishing this morning I had saved out a few more sweaters.  It's not suppose to rain today, but it is clouding up so I am going to just keep this short today.

The picture Tim took yesterday of our field.  Have never had the white flowers in the fields like this year.  They look like a daisy.  Red clover is coming up, but all you can see is a river of white.  Beautiful!  We still have the 2 Momma dear and the 3 fawns.  Seems the Momma's hang out together and the fawns play.  They were all in the field last night playing.  SO CUTE!  They have plenty to eat and the river right here, and I hope they feel protected enough to hang around.  The fawns have lost their spots already.  The twins are a little smaller than the single baby, but I am so happy they are here.  Bert never chases or barks at them, but he has growled at the babies playing.  He is used to the big deer and I think the little ones he is not sure of yet.  But that lets me know they are near.  Still hoping to get a good picture of them.  They were too close to the river last night in the trees and unable to get a good picture.  I hope I get at least 1 soon before the babies get too big!

Lots on my mind today, but need to stay focused on tasks at hand.  Enjoy your start to the week!
