Having a "memory" week here. It has been just over a year since we started the website for Do This Honey. It has been just over a year since we heard "Covid" for the first time. This last week we have gotten several Graduation Announcements. This picture is from 11 years ago. Where did the time go? It wasn't Nick's actual graduation picture, but it is one of my favorites! He had a band at this time and I think this was his first (of MANY) guitars. The band is long over, but the guitar and his smile still remain!
It has been really cold here again this week. Below freezing last night, and a beautiful frost this morning. It is 45 already now with bright sunshine. My "porch plants" went back outside until tonight when they will come in again. Below freezing every night for about the next week. The sun is warm though and it is really getting green! The bees are busy! I worry about them at night, but it isn't windy or snowing so I am sure they are huddled together keeping warm. It is a late start for Spring, even for "up north" here. Last year my first hummingbird was yesterday, and I was planting garden on the 13th. Don't think any of that is happening yet for a few weeks. I am even sorry I bought my "porch" plants already! In and out every night and morning! Good thing there are only a couple of them for now.
Enjoy your Hump Day!
